Everyone slows and goes back to the pits to be released at the previous time intervals. Safer and avoids losing half a laps advantage?robandkathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12013381063438449889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8101784122100352616.post-83314168065506548112015-11-10T11:12:26.750+00:002015-11-10T11:12:26.750+00:00After a few years of working with Creventic I am i...After a few years of working with Creventic I am increasingly convinced that the Code 60 (80 in WEC) is the best solution--yes, it is a compromise of course--but then what isn't. Granted that the characteristics of their cars (and drivers) are quite different from those of the WEC, and that Le Mans will always require a variation because of its length and speed, this form of neutralization is still the best. Moreover, it could not have been employed in past decades before the advent of GPS and transponder technology. Speaking of Shanghai, not sure if you saw query about it:
Am I correct that there were 6 neutralizations? (4 full-course yellows + 2 safety car periods?)

I have SC I, laps 1-4
SC II, laps 6-8

FCY I, laps 41-53
FCY II, ?
FCY III, ?
FCY IV, laps 166-167

Do you agree / disagree and do you have the laps for the other FCY periods?
Thanksdoc janoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03160939970928062208noreply@blogger.com
